Trade Terms

These Trade Terms govern wholesale purchases of Saxzi products. They are separate from the consumer Terms of Service that apply to retail purchases on saxzi.com.
1. Who these terms apply to
These Trade Terms apply to trade buyers only: bars, restaurants, hotels, retailers and other businesses buying Saxzi for resale or commercial use. Retail purchases made by consumers on saxzi.com are covered by our Terms of Service instead. By placing a wholesale order with Saxzi you accept these Trade Terms.
2. Eligibility and approval
We welcome trade enquiries through our Trade page. New trade accounts are subject to Saxzi approval. We may decline or discontinue an account at our discretion, for example where a market is already served by an appointed Saxzi distributor.
3. The first-order offer
The 50% discount on a first order, the year of free shipping, the 60-day payment terms and free returns on opening orders are provided through Faire. They are funded and administered by Faire, not Saxzi, and are available to retailers new to Faire who sign up via our Faire Direct link. They are subject to Faire's own terms, available at faire.com. Saxzi may change or withdraw its participation in the Faire programme.
4. Ordering and payment
Once a trade account is set up, wholesale orders are placed through Faire. Minimum order quantities, pricing and payment terms are shown at the point of order. Prices are exclusive of any taxes, duties and excise unless stated otherwise.
5. Shipping, duties and excise
Saxzi ships from the distillery. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the buyer is responsible for any import duties, excise and local taxes that apply in the destination country.
6. Where we ship
Wholesale is currently available in Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, with the United States to follow. Some markets are served by an appointed Saxzi distributor. In those markets we will introduce you to the distributor, who will handle your account.
7. Licensing and compliance
Saxzi products contain alcohol. The buyer is responsible for holding all licences and permits required to import, store, sell and serve alcohol in its territory, and for compliance with all applicable laws, including age-of-sale rules.
8. Resale
Trade buyers may resell Saxzi through their own premises and channels. Saxzi products must be sold in their original packaging and must not be altered, decanted or relabelled.
9. A business-to-business basis
Wholesale purchases are business-to-business. Consumer protection rights that apply to retail purchases, including distance-selling cancellation rights, do not apply to trade orders.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Saxzi's liability in connection with a trade order is limited to the value of the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Trade Terms from time to time. The version published on saxzi.com applies to orders placed after it takes effect.
