Origin
The story
The Dry Martini emerged in late-19th-century New York, evolving from the sweeter Martinez. The 6:1 gin-to-vermouth ratio with a lemon twist or olive became the modern standard. The defining gin cocktail. We pour Saxzi One gin, a London Dry, the canonical category, and we go Kalamata when we go olive.
