Origin
The story
The Southside is contested between New York's 21 Club and the Southside Sportsmen's Club on Long Island, both claiming the Prohibition-era origin. Structurally a gin sour with muddled mint, it reads as a stirred-down gin Mojito and rewards a clean, juniper-led gin. We pour Saxzi One gin.
